can-o-phish
Long Story Short. I'm an owner/engineer/editor at an audio post facility in T-Dot.I work on both Mac and PC and have been doing all of my music editing with Pro Tools on my custom PC. It's loaded with tons of ram, 3 burners, 5 drives and massive CPU power to drive audio & video. Then yesterday turned into hell as ALL audio devices started playing back with lag time, hiccups, interrupts and I'm trying to cut a new BUSY animation series.I do all the maintenance I know and can think of and still no luck. Off I go to the Digidesign Users Group to post my problem and almost immediately I have a response that leads me to one of the best written blogs EVER! Easy to follow and best of all, CURED MY COMPOOPER!If you're experiencing what I described, check this out. It's for Windows XP Pro Users.http://users.bigpond.net.au/ninjaduck/itserviceduck/udma_fix/I'm back to running seamlessly and stress-free.
