I saw this guy open up for John Prine a few months back. I think he was from Philadelphia, if I remember correctly. He was truly captivating. He's a singer/song-writer with an acoustic guitar; sorta folky.

After his 30 minute opener-set, the audience wouldn't stop cheering until he did an encore; which is pretty awesome for an opening act. He also did a great grand finale jamming with John Prine.
