Basher
I just finished State of Fear, by Michael Crichton, the other day. I high recommend this book. The theme is eco-terrorism, with a subplot on the merits of the theory of Global Warming. If you have not read Crichton before, you should know that his works of fiction are heavily researched (this one for three years), and full of footnotes and references to back up statements of fact. I can't go into it much more at the moment, but this book really makes you think. The second act is a tad Hollywood, but if you consider yourself an environmentalist I feel this book will be quite enlightening. At the core, this book challenges the following statement: Global Warming as a theory has been proven, and catastrophic climate change will be the result. TomFoolery
Just to be a nit-picker...Not many meteorologists or climate change advocates who know their shit would ever claim that "Global Warming as a theory has been proven, and catastrophic climate change will be the result." Basher
You're right - but you would be surprised as just how invalid the theory of Global Warming might be.

MamaBurnsy
I just finished the book two days ago, I agree, I loved it.I found myself switching sides by the end of the book, kinda like what Evans must have felt like, I suppose that was the purpose. I feel like I got an environmental education.
