Birdy
i think my monitor may be screwed, but not sure..i can't seem to shake this green tinge that it has and every time it comes on it says "degaussing"...does anyone know anything that may be of help? is it toast? Basher
First of all, why are you degaussing?Second, ensure the monitor is properly connected to your video card.Third, boot into safe mode to rule out your video card as the possible cause. Birdy
i have no idea why i'm degaussing.. but it never fails.. every single time i turn the monitor on it degausses.and i'm firmly connected to the video card...this means bad things doesn't it? Basher
What about booting into safe mode? If you boot into safe mode and the issue persists, it would mean either a hardware problem with your video card or monitor. I assume you do not have another computer, or even a laptop, to test this monitor on?

Basher
No problem. Obviously, if the issue persists when connected to the laptop your monitor is toast. I could certainly price bash a new one for you!
