Merci Beaucoup. great read...

I met Ken Dryden when I was a young chap, and I had on a t-shirt of the front page of the Gazette, with Roy on the front, when Montreal won in 93'. He smiled and said, "nice shirt,"and signed my left shoulder. It was awesome. Shortly after, I didnt even dream of it, and am only coming to relise this now, but, many fans say Roy abandoned their team? Im still trying to grasp my head around it, but so far, this seems unbelievable to me. Please tell me most fans side with Patrick!

My opinion, and you can go on the record with this one, was that picking Tremblay and Houle to replace Demers and Savard was a horrible move that cost the Habs a second Cup in the 90's when Roy was at the peak of his career.

Tremblay's only previous experience was as a hockey analyst for the French broadcasts, and Houle's only experience was... hell, I don't even know. He must've had compromising pictures of Ronald Corey...
