(Toronto) – Yes, it’s happening! GMP Concerts based in Toronto and Inchworm Entertainment based in Vancouver have teamed up to bring Michael Franti to venues across Canada. Although, Michael won’t be performing with his usual band Spearhead, you will instead find him from Victoria to Halifax with both his new documentary (“I Know I’m not Aloneâ€) and a guitar strung across his back. Take note folks, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity, for people to get up close and friendly with Michael. Come join in the music, ask questions and be apart of a Magical experience.

Documentary Film Synopsis:

Armed with an acoustic guitar and a video camera, musician Michael Franti takes us on a musical journey through war and occupation in Iraq, Israel and Palestine. Along the way he shares his music with families, doctors, musicians, soldiers and everyday people who in turn reveal to him the often overlooked human cost of war.
