Well, probably not, but they do say,

Your ongoing feedback will make us stronger and better equipped to serve the interests of Canadian families.

And I figure that since most people on the board fit into that category, it's only fair that FotF hear other voices than the ones they're used to hearing (only fair, too, since they're so heavily mobilised to do what they can politically to affect our lives).

I don't see whay this should specifically be seen by those interested in politics.

My bad - you're right, MarcO - they use that same kind of classification to get away with the stuff they do. I mean, James Dobson's a child psychologist (or so his accreditation says, though I'd never let him near my own kids); does that entitle him to comment authoritatively on, say, international relations?
