The Chameleon
[color:brown]So I got tickets to this special studio taping of Bachman-Cummings, to be aired April 20th. Cool performances, interesting stories and some nerw tunes to boot. Burton Cummings is stil a bit of an egomaniac though...enjoyable3/14/2006- Randy Bachman-Burton Cummings @ Glenn Gould Theater CBC, Toronto, ONAmerican WomanShape of my heart (Sting cover)805 (Moby Grape cover..just first verse)UndoneTakin’ care of businessAin’t No More (new tune)Stone Free (Jimi Hendrix cover, with Burton Cummings on drums)Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet (Swing/Jazz ballad arrangement)These EyesLaughingNo TimeAll Gotta Go (new tune)
deranger
I saw Burton at Grossmans one night years ago, absolutely piss drunk, and in the middle of a tune, he starts in on this long tirade about how bad every other Canadian musician is. He starts to list them, talking trash about each one. He then says "I never even heard of Lenny Kravitz until 3 months ago" right around the time Lenny did Americasn Woman for Austin Powers. In short, a total and complete prick who made me ashamed he was a Canadian.
The Chameleon
Agreed! but he still has the pipes and can play. But that's no excuse.
