StoneMtn
This is where Bonfire currently stands:Hey all.I've been receiving a lot of questions from a lot of people lately wondering what's going on with this year's Bonfire Festival, and why they haven't seen any news/announcements yet, so we figured it would be a good idea to give you all a little update about what's going on right now. We're looking at August 18/19/20 for Bonfire 2006 right now. However, the reason for the delays is we're currently having some 'Horning's Hideout-type' issues with the SCRD (Sunshine Coast politicians) that we're trying to resolve... insurance, permits, noise, curfews, environmental impact... the issues on the table run the gamut. With that being said, we're confident that a resolution will be found in time for us to move forward with this year's event, and that we won't have to switch venues from the beautiful & one-of-a-kind Spirit of the Rainforest Amphitheatre & Campgrounds in Ruby Lake. Keep your fingers crossed and send out those good vibes people!! Thanks!Keither & the rest of the Bonfire Production Team You can read a long thread discussing this year's Bonfire by clicking here, including bands that could possibly play.
