Jokes about liberal matrons missing their maids add grim levity to an increasingly acrimonious debate that divides the United States, and now threatens to emerge as a defining domestic issue of the remainder of George. W. Bush's presidency.In tangentially related news, I saw Bush the other day insisting that there should be no other versions of the national anthem than the English one. I can only imagine what Lou Dobbs had to say.Happy May Day. Doesn't get a lot of attention in this part of the world.
