SaggyBalls Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 this one is for the gearheads.I just got me a Jazz bass and want to get it rewired.I was thinking of moving away from the volume/volume/tone controls to a pickup selector/master volume/tone.now here's the kicker. i want to set the tone up with a push/pull pot to switch between series and parallel to go between the traditional jazz sound and a fatter punchier P sound.does anybody know any issues I'll come up with?Any suggestions?as well, what can I do to reduce hum/noise coming from my instrument??
