The Droops (fuÇk yeah)

I'll have to grab the line I wrote about the Droops in a column but basically that they have half the chops and all the fire and an infectious authenticity that might make them quickly the most promising young live act in my tri-cities (Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph).

That turned out to be a very true statment. I thought these guys were a white funk soul band still slightly awkward that go into some southern rock flourishes. It turns out these guys are all young Deadheads and play sick covers. Like the first Jimi Hendrix Fire I have heard in years that didn't actually make me sick. Fuck I hate the overplayedness of that song and I honestly thought there's was up there with a trey or mmw version.

Same with Johnny B. Goode, shit handful of other's TKOB encore that fucking killed. TKOB. Fucking rights. Killler young band.
