Thought they were worth mentioning. they are called Voix and they are playing at Medesto's, a bar just east of Bathurst on Queen. The place has good food and a good patio. The band is sick. Guit, bass and drums and newly added keys. They are still in the figuring shit out stage, but are already tighter than most bands out there and have a knack for writing good tunes. I found some of their stuff to be very Slipesque (minus the crap) and partly a jazz fusion feel a la MMW or Scofield. Do yourselves and them a favour, and check them out next Sunday in TO, they need some crowds and you will enjoy being in on this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
