Dan Beacock (Guitar, Vocals), Amanda Currie (Vocals), Will Currie (Pianoforte, Vocals), Daniel MacPherson (Bass, Vocals), Aaron Mariash (Drums, Vocals), Steve Wood (Percussion, Fender Rhodes, Vocals) Will Currie & the Country French was originally conceived in the early part of 2006 as a few songs written in a small glass room in the basement of the Music Faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University. However, The Country French officially came into being when five Laurier music majors and one art major from Guelph found each other on a cold, rainy night. They fought off the darkness with the power of rock, forever changed by what they had created. Dusty old pianos were brought to new life as the chords were hammered out. The rooms vibrated with the humming of melodies and harmony. On that night a force so powerful was forged that even its creators were unable to contain it.
