Jaimoe
I've been able to catch a few acts when I visit my homemtown over the years and this festival is really well run and affordable: $10 bracelet gets you in to every venue. It's all blues here folks, so if you like the blues, then you'll have a great time. Even if you don't, you'll have a great time. The headliners have been announced and they are great: Shakura S’Aida, orogressive blues slide-guitar legend Sonny Landreth, the greatest living blues harmonica player James Cotton and Canadian legends Downchild Blues Band. I'm going to see Landreth and Cotton. Hell, Cotton was Muddy's harp player amongst many other greats. http://www.kingstonblues.com/schedule.html
skelter
Shit, I lived here and I missed the announcement!James Cotton! Good score ... I've always been proud of the bluesfest for actually remaining a bluesfest. Highlight for me was John Hammond Jr. a bunch of years ago ...
