We've got a lot of great events in store for you in 2008 - Celebrating our greatest year so far!! 2008 - THE YEAR OF THE FUNK!! We're also paying tribute to our musical mentors with both BOB MARLEY and JAMES BROWN Tributes in February as a part of Black History Month. We'll also be launching a new website www.makeitfunky.ca that will have lots of photos, music and artist content from past and future Make it Funky Events.

NUFUNK CONCERTS are not regular events - We offer a friendly environment to present some of the most cutting edge and classic Canadian & International music talent. We love funk, afrobeat, breakbeat, jazzfunk, hip hop, trip hop, world music, folk and experimental music. Let us know what you'd like to see at our events in the near future!

Just announced upcoming performances with XAVIER RUDD at the Danforth Music Hall on January 31st, February 1st and February 10th as well as NYC's Jazz/Funk/Beats quintet OUT TO LUNCH performs with The CHAMELEON PROJECT at the Drake Hotel on Friday, February 1st as a part of the NUFUNK Festival Launch Party **this is an EARLY SHOW - 9 PM - 11PM**. Other acts coming to Toronto include: Z-TRIP, THE WASSABI COLLECTIVE, SOULJAZZ ORCHESTRA, WOLFF & TUBA, GOD MADE ME FUNKY, HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER and MUCH MORE!!
