This Wed Night, A must see band for the Toronto jamheads

I want to personally invite all of you out tomorrow for a magical evening of killer dance music. There is a new band in town called Flash Lightnin who is taking the city by storm.

Flash Lightnin plays three sets every Wed night at an amazing viby bar called the Dakota Tavern, which is located at Dundas and Ossington, 249 Ossington. The bar is usually packed so it best to be they’re kind of early and remember its a 19+ evening. It’s a very vibey bar and be prepared to dace your ass off, the crowd is totally wild and drinks a ton of tequila. The band takes the stage around 10:30-11ish and finishes just after 2am.

The band plays a style of boogie rock that we have all come to know and or love over the years. Think of ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers meeting the White Stripes and somewhere in between. Never the less these guys rock the crowd all night long. When I say rock….songs range anywhere from 3 min to 10 min long with blistering guitar solos.

For all my musican friends make sure you pop in, as these boys are the real deal.
