The Chameleon
So he was gonna come back and then pulled a stomach muscle or something...man o man the Raptors have terrible luck. Do y'all think he'll ever play again? Is is time to get a new point guard to back up Calderone?
Basher
Will he ever come back again? From a strained abdominal muscle?Wow. Don't even know how to answer that. Maybe JYD can be signed to back up Calderon (don't know who this Calderone guy is). There is a Raps thread dedicated to discussion about the team, no matter how assinine. Hal Johnson
Like I said, I havent been following too closely this year, but I guess Ive always sided with Calderon as the starting PG for the Raps. When Ford comes back they should trade him for a big guy.
Basher
The trade deadline is tomorrow - TJ is NOT getting traded. At this time, the Raps do not have a suitable third point guard. If Colangelo decides in the offseason that Jose is the PG of the future, then he will surely trade TJ.
Hal Johnson
Ahh...see - I just havent been paying enough attention this year!
afro poppa
Yea TJ will be back soon he just hurt his wrist. Calderon is the starting PG of the Raps until further notice, whether Ford is back or not. For chrissakes the guy is 5th in the NBA in APG and 1st in A/TO ratio. How Gilbert Arenas thought Calderon shouldn't even have been mentioned in the All Star game discussion is beyond me.Speaking of Arenas, it'll be interesting to see how the Wiz will do with Arenas back in the lineup. On paper they should challenge the Pistons, Magic, and Celtics as a top three team in the east but will Butler and Jamison continue their strong play as 2nd options?
