The corporate "agrofuels" gold-rush has ignited a major global conflict. Governments across the world are committing to agrofuels as a part of their energy strategies. But producing crops for fuel is already changing world agriculture, with major consequences for people, ecosystems, and the planet.

This is a great cause. Growing crops to produce fuel is complete insanity. However, our organic waste CAN and SHOULD be refined into fuel, some people are doing this now. We need terminology to differentiate between the two, because I see recycling our food waste into fuel as a necessity, and growing corn for fuel as insanely wasteful.
