bradm Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 I got home from Blues Fest about 11:30pm (I think), flipped on the TV, and did some channel surfing. When I got to channel 22, the Rogers community access channel, they were running a repeat of their "Daytime" chat show, and the segment I happened upon happened to have Velvet teaching the hosts how to play rock'n'roll. The female host was behind a drum kit, the male host had an electric guitar, and Velvet was there, showing them how to play Pat Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", with Velvet on acoustic guitar. It wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been, and the hosts' vocals were almost good to listen to.
