Jaimoe
and I'm no fan either' date=' but maybe I should be[/quote']That's what I am starting to think as well. It's high time I go see them live because that was kick-ass. Roger and Pete should have played in their spot and Pearl Jam should have closed. Hey, why not have Roger and Pete tour The Who with PJ as their backing band! That would be amazing. Now that's the best idea I've heard post-Entwistle. Kanada Kev
Damn ... after listening to that youtube clip (i missed the show last night) I'm convinced that the Who SHOULD be PJ+Pete+Roger ... or hell, even Pearl Jam doing an all-Who tour Yesterday I was listening to the Who's Next Deluxe Edition (killer Young Man's Blues on there) and Tommy the day before. Fuck i love The Who. Anyone out there who hasn't been annointed should get on these asap: Who, The - Live At Leeds - http://www.mediafire.com/?jvpmxn4lulo Who, The - Quadrophenia - http://www.mediafire.com/?wxzzazxwjwd Who, The - Tommy - http://www.sendspace.com/file/ovzf5s Who, The - Who's Next (Deluxe Edition) [Part 1] - http://www.mediafire.com/?memiy0e6nmr Who, The - Who's Next (Deluxe Edition) [Part 2] - http://www.mediafire.com/?c6n4ezjjj5n Who, The - Who's Next (Deluxe Edition) [Part 3] - http://www.mediafire.com/?2mtyosowxn5
Jaimoe
Worth picking up is the expanded The Who's Odds and Sods - it has the punk rock sounding studio version of "Young Man Blues" and a really jamming version of "Love Ain't For Keeping", featuring Pete on lead vocals and doing extended lead solos and trading off riffs with Mountain's Leslie West. The deluxe The Who Sings My Generation is fantastic.
