Led by Juno-winning keyboardist Dylan Heming, the core of the band includes singer Ron Littlejohn, drummer Ben Riley, and bassman Glenn Olive; with a rotating who's who of backing players such as Jake Langley, Guido Basso, Steve Donald, Perry White, and Mark Kelso; and the occasional "Planetary" luminary like Alex Lifeson and Holly Cole. They have recently opened for superstars Maceo Parker, K-OS, Maestro, and Joey DeFrancesco. Joining Planet Earth for this party is the supremely gifted guitar genius Kevin Breit, who in addition to leading Sisters Euclid and Folkalarm works regularly with pop superstar Norah Jones, "Mysticsippi" sitarist Harry Manx, blues harmonica innovator Carlos Del Junco and many more. The National Parcs www.myspace.com/thenationalparcs www.thenationalparcs.com Veterans of legendary Montreal collective Freeworm, The National Parcs turn the great outdoors into their studio on the new "Timbervision" CD/DVD. Their songs come alive with all-natural samples of wood splitting, sand slipping, paddles slapping, and water dripping; their live multimedia show is not to be missed! DJ Goldfinger's jazzy-cool selections rock parties all over Toronto, New York City and beyond He hosts "What is Hip" every Saturday night on CIUT 89.5 FM and is constantly in demand as a producer at The Hive, one of Toronto's finest studios.
