If you were around and a boxing fan in the 70s and 80s, then you know that there's never been a classier boxer, and better lightweight ever. Only when he tried to go for his 4th championship in 4 different weight classes did he lose, in mammoth battles with Aaron Pryor. I remember when Alexis knocked out an in-his-prime Boom Boom Mancini and he looked upset about it, hoping Boom Boom was ok instead of celebrating. Arguello was recently elected mayor of Managua, Nicaraguan.
