We are thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual NuJazz Festival at various venues in Toronto. The spirit of nu-jazz is to bringing jazz into a modern context by blending this essential improvisation-based art form with other styles like funk, hiphop, electronica and more. Confirmed artists this year include: Tortured Soul, Rich Medina, The Souljazz Orchestra, DJ John Kong and much much more

Former festival headliners include: Jazzanova (Germany), The Herbaliser Band (London, UK) and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble (NYC). They were joined by some of the most exciting live acts from all across the country, including: Elizabeth Shepherd, High Plains Drifter, King Sunshine, Grand Analog, Planet Earth and The National Parcs. Rounding out the festival is a who's who of Canadian and local DJs who introduce us all to so many cutting-edge sounds and keep the city's scene moving into the future: The Footprints DJ crew (General Eclectic / Jason Palma & Stuart Li aka basicsoulunit), Medicineman (CIUT 89.5fm), John Kong (Do Right!), DJ Goldfinger (CIUT 89.5fm) and many more.
