bradm
http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showtopic.php?tid/259033/Tonight's the first night of an all-five-Mondays-in-January residency for the Back-Talk Organ Trio, and it's at a great club taboot, and it's free tabooter! Tabootestly (IMnsHO), Mike Essoudry is their drummer, and he's always a blast to see and hear play. I'll be there. Anyone else?Aloha,Brad

bradm
Bump for tonight's show. This is the last of the band's residency at Le Petit Chicago, and they also opened for MonkeyJunk on Saturday and Sunday at the Black Sheep Inn, so they should be hitting on all cylinders tonight. And it's a free show, and they have Quebec micro-brews (e.g., Coup de Grisou, Bell Guelle) on tap.Aloha,Brad

bagochips
That was a brilliant night of music. I didn't put it together until I saw him that the organist was also in Soul Jazz. If they reconvene anytime soon I will be there for sure. Sick players all. Megan's Billie Holiday cover and Craig's trumpet solos were definitely highlights. As was the round of shooters that the waitress bought our table.
bradm
I'm glad you liked it. I've also convinced the band to join the Live Music Archive, so the four or five live recordings I've made of them so far should be available online fairly soon now.Aloha,Brad
