So, supposedly Pete Shapiro made The Slip an offer they couldn't refuse, as the trio is playing BB on July 14.

They're also playing The Met in Rhode Island on Saturday, July 16.

Also, I was informed by a pretty reliable source that Surprise Me Mr. Davis is working hard on getting Nathan over the border, they're planning a Canadian run through Toronto/MTL/Ottawa at the end of August. They'd play the Horseshoe in Toronto if all goes as planned.

While I'm hopeful that Nathan will be able to get across the border, my back-up hope is that the shows will be set up regardless, and converted into Slip shows (maybe with Marco opening up and/or sitting in) if he can't.

That would be killer, but I asked Brad if there's any chance of a Toronto Slip show and he laughed and basically said it doesn't make sense at this point in time. More likely that they'd turn into Barr Brothers shows.
