A monthly gathering of family and friends that takes place usually the last Thursday of every month at Club Absinthe.

We have a beautiful venue that allows us to be ourselves and enjoy the atmosphere we are creating in peace of mind. For a low cost of $5 dollars you can see some incredible lineups presented in a way unlike anywhere else in the city.

Friday November 30th

Earlier this month Sam Klass opened for 2 amazing artists in Hamilton Kaki King on Nov. 3, and Gramatik on Nov. 8th.

Now it's time for Sam to headline and take the spotlight as this months headliner for Professor Quigley's Big Experiment.

Sam Klass w/ Eddie Max:

Sam uses live looping to create original music on the spot. Everything is recorded and played back in the moment.Recently Sam has been collaborating with Eddie Max, but then again who hasn’t been collaborating with Eddie?

Eddie will be sitting in with Sam as they close out the night with their incredible live jam looping, Kind of like they did at Come Together Festival this year in the saloon. :D

He has opened for a bunch of big live acts, like The New Deal, Marco Benevento, Charlie Hunter, Zach Deputy, Fat Cats, Maylee Todd, Lee Reed, Sarah Green, members of Burt Neilson Band, and Killah Priest of Wu-Tang. He has played at a bunch of large festivals in Southern Ontario, including Harvest Festival, Toronto's The Junction festival, Hamilton's It's Your Festival, Come Together Music Festival, and James St. North Supercrawl.

Toadhouse:

Toadhouse has been “hopping†up at venues across Southern Ontario recently and to great review from the audience. The last Thursday of every month they play co-host to Professor Quigley’s Big Experiment; blending together a killer set list of originals and jam out versions of our favourites by Umphrey’s Mcgee and Phish.
