PassedOutGuy Posted February 25, 2003 Report Share Posted February 25, 2003 Wow, I knew we were in for a treat with this one but ill tell u it was the classiest jazz show i have ever seen! The playing as you would expect was spectacular... many originals with some Monk , Coltrane, and Miles thrown in... i know there was one dixieland kinda tune as well... Wynton and Branford were givn'r to a wicked Wynton tune that he wrote some 21 yrs ago called Hesitation. If u dont have this tune i highly recommend it! Wynton " So the good thing about having a Dad that is a piano player is that you can call him anytime when u need some help. I remember i was i Japan and couldnt figure out the chord changes to a particular piece so I call him up at like 4 in the morning and say Dad i need a little help" Ellis " OK son just gimme a minute to get ta my piana.
