AdamH
Got this in my work email. Sounds like fun. SalvAide needs participants for its 2004 Youth Delegation to El Salvador this summer. Participants will volunteer with a variety of community development initiatives in El Salvador from July 17 to August 8. Anybody aged 16 to 30 can apply. The cost is $2,000 for participants under 18 and $1,600 for those over 18. Help with fundraising is available. For more information and an application form, visit www.salvaide.ca or call 233-6215 and ask about the 2004 Youth Delegation. Deadline for applications is May 30. paisley
they shouldn't limit things like this to people under 30... times have changed, not everyone in their 30s is raising kids and putting away bucks for RRSP time but looks like a cool thing to do to be sure
AdamH
Agreed. I'm guessing this is at least partially funded by the Youth Employment Strategy...which depending on the program has a rolling cutoff between 30 and 34.
