Jaimoe
Have any of you heard of the Hamilton band The Marble Index? They get the odd play on the Loud channel and I like their single a lot, " I Believe ", even though it's a re-write of The MC5's classic " Kick Out The Jams ". I want to hear more from The Marble Index.
TimmyB
I have never heard of them. How long have they been around?
Jaimoe
I don't know, but I like their garage/pre-punk sound.
shainhouse
my co-worker is signed to the same label as them. I did a show with them in Cambridge. up-and-comers for sure.definitly thrashy, non-jamband. I have a feeling when there album drops in August, it'll do quite well. Popular and catchy sound. My friend's band, newly signed to Key Music (w/Pixies & Marble Index) is worth a listen too if you like that style. www.citiesindust.cjb.net

The thrashier the better. The Marble Index ( judging by their video ) sounds like they are in the MC5 mold, and that mold should never be broken. I'll definitely check out their album. Same with your friends band.
