tatterdemalion
also, for anybody into new orleans grooves, you must check out WWOZ (on sat. nights), the local nola radio station that plays some of the baddest funk you'll ever hear. dj soul sista - she's got a website too, with many links to music you've never heard of (far beyond the meters), but will most certainly dig. it's the stuff that inspired the meters. speaking of funk & nola - also check out frequinox. stanton, will bernard, robert walters, bassist from galactic (mercurio), some horn from headhunters, can't remember who else. goooooood stuff.
