bradm Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 On Saturday, June 2, Toronto afro-beat band Mr. Something Something (live recordings of which are available here) and Kobo Town ("A pan-Caribbean sound where the lyricism and melodies of calypso meet the heavy bass grooves of dub and reggae.") are playing at Barrymore's Music Hall in Ottawa. Kinda bummed their opening up, hopefully they still play a long set, I've been aching to see them for a while. Zobo Town looks fun too, haven't heard them yet.
