Time Fades Away has always been my favorite Neil Young album. Along with Journeys Thru the Past its the only Neil album you can't buy on CD. I also love the album cover. It was all recorded live. My favorite tracks would be the TFA, LA and Last Dance. What a wonderful album. I'm glad to see that the Constatines have resurrected Time Fades Away. Don't be Denied is an autobiographical tale of Neils' childhood. For any music fan, this one is worth checking out.

i think the great american music hall could be one of my favorite venues. i was lucky enough to see drive by truckers there last fall.

I've got a Christmas CD called Seven Gates, its done by "Ben Keith & Friends". Anyways its got Neil Young guesting on a couple of tracks including a duet with Johnny Cash singing Little Drummer Boy. Amazon.com has it for $4.00.

It was a great show last night. Nice to see so many people out over the last couple of days. I prefered moe.'s performance last night over TO. Crab Eyes and Brent Black kicked some serious ass. Here is the Allman's set:

Eddie Vedder speaks of the achives when he inducted Neil into the rock and roll hall of fame. He was saying that he visited Neils Vault and they have it broken down into the 37 best cortez the killers, etc. But the problem is that some of the tapes are simply labeled Friday Night or Wednesday morning. He also said that a friend of Stone Gossard referred to Neil's music as mountain funk. I've always liked that mountain funk!

The producers of the ZOOMA Tour regret to announce that this summer's

Tour has been canceled. Ticket refunds for all dates will be given

through the outlets where the tickets were purchased.

The Zooma Tour was conceived to provide fans with an exceptional musical

and entertainment experience. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it has

become clear that it would not be possible to provide that experience at

the level initially envisioned. Rather than go forward with a tour that

falls short of what was conceived, everyone involved has mutually agreed

that it is best to cancel the tour altogether.

but i think this contest is unfair as too many factors come into play depending on where and how much you paid for tickets to decide whether or not you got your "value"

a good example on your list is van halen if you saw them in the spring in TO cheap seats were $95 or in the fall you could see them for $25 in the hammer. toronto show may not have had the same value as the hammer.

Gordie Johnson is playing with his new band Grady at the Docks in TO this night. They play early on the bill I wonder if we will see and special guests.
