OK. This is confusing. I just got word from Emerge that they haven't heard back from Little Feat management yet to ensure we got the gig. Sorry to jump the gun. I'll keep everyone posted.

Pemeal bacon on a bun at the St. Lawrence market is killer. The market is pretty slick as well.
-
$35 and a 12 pack of premium ales and it's yours. Oh, and maybe that Guacamole recipe....
-
No worries. Give me a shout when you get the chance.

I have it Ricky. I was a little out of it when we were loading up. One of us through it in the van. It's safe. Give me a shout (416)450-0941 and we can figure out a drop spot for the ransom money.

Just to let you know Todd, Chris, Adam and myself along with Ricky Neu on percussion will be jamming out some acoustic goodness on Saturday night. Harvard Mouse will be opening. So come on down and swill a few pints.
See you at the show.

I wonder what has had more air play.
Back In Black or Sweet Emotion??
Thoughts?
Back in Black is the #6 all time best seller.
I think I just answered my own question.
-
AC/DC for sure!! Especially the old stuff with Bon Scott. Can't be beat. I'd like to see Joe Perry try to top Angus Young.
Not bloody likely.

I hope that party was a good one. I remember sneaking into the boot underage, drinking kokanee gold by the bucket full and listening to the sweet sounds of the bands that passed through that place. Quite the bar. It will be sadly missed. I was in Whistler again this year and knowing that the boot would be closing we thought we would try somewhere else for live tunes. Didn't pan out too well. I hope one of the other bars carries the live music torch.
Cheers to the Boot Pub.

Thansk everyone for coming out. It was great night. We'll see you all at CMTF!!
Have a good one.

I guess they are looking for a smaller venue. Molson lawns were closed last year.
Bummer

Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass for sure.
Are they still living in Guelph???
-
Nice. I used to play that tune in a band I was in called Congress. 8 piece funk. Wicked tune. I think we sang it in French and Cantonese as well. Flashback indeed.

What a smoke show this is gonna be.....

At this rate, probably not sooner than an Ottawa show. We started working on an album a while back but haven't done anything with it since. We find the live recordings are much more "us" than the studio stuff. We should try somthiing off the floor sometime in a studio. That would work.
As for thr Ottawa show...stay tuned.

It's a close one for me between the Dead and the Allman's. Allman's with Duane is a totally different level campared to what they are doing now. I always have a hard time deciding between the two. I guess the big differnce is the Allman's could continue on without Duane but the dead couldn't live without Jerry.
Both grandad's of jam music and they sure can make you dance.
Oh BABY can they make ya dance....

Hey everybody. Great night on Friday. That room sounded great. Meat sounded awsome and so did The Friends of Hefner. Great to see everybody. It's always a blast.
Our drummer's name is Adam King. He is a solid drummer and a great guy to play tunes with. He jams with some other bands in Toronto as well. I'm sure he would appreciate the comment.
Thanks again and we wlook forward to the 4:20 show at Pepperjack's on Thursday.
See you there.

I'm thinking I'm going to talk the family down to this one. Looks pretty sweet and also kid friendly! Cool. Zero is going to be a real treat!! I haven't seen Kimock since the Boot pub in Whistler.

Wicked Greg. This is becoming quite the collection of shows. It's cool to see how the guys have managed to keep the same groove over 16 years. Hopefully we can get this one on Friday night recorded. You think you're gonna make it?
Hopefully we'll see you there.
