Is Drawbar In You?
-
Sorry dude. Elmo on Friday w/ Slammin' Jack though?
-
Hey Esau,
I will try to remember to bring those shows. See everybody on Friday.
Later.
-
Hey guys,
We didn't line this gig up. Some of the guys couldn't do it. Sorry about that. We will try to hook something up in Guelph soon.
Have a good one.

Willy, I think you could just post it on the Fat Cats section of Archive and maybe put one on the Caution jam Archive list as well? I don't know if they have one.
-
The Casbah Gig has been moved to the 4th of Feb and unfortunately I won't be able to make it. The guys are still playing it though. I will be at all of the others. I missed New Years also which sucked. Bummer. The Jambands fundraiser should be stellar.

Workin'. Thanks.
Just a note:
Friday, Jan. 20 @ The El Mocambo,Toronto
w/Slammin' Jack
Our last venture to Toronto was pretty smokin'. Looking forward to jamming with Slammin' Jack.
See you at the show.

That's sweet Greg! Thanks for posting that one. I have a bunch of shows from last year I should get to you so we can put them up on Archive. It still says that the show is unavailable? Any thoughts?
-
Happy Birthday dude.
Don't forget to drink.
Josh

Nope. That would ahve been a good one for the archive.
-
That was a blast!. Thanks to everyone that came out. The Gypsy is definately a cool place to play. We will do that again for sure.
Again, thanks everyone and we'll see you all real soon.

That poster rocks. I hope we can hook something up in Ottawa in the Spring or something. That would be great. What venue would work for that kind of gig?
-
10 hours to go. Looking forward to it. I'm positive Rory will kick out some killer tunes tonight!! Always does.
If anyone wants to head to the Gypsy earlier, they do have a killer menu!
See you at the show.

I have been talking with the guys about Ottawa. maybe in the new year we can hook something up. It is a great town. I saw Drums and Tuba there about 3 years ago. Slick. We'll see about making the trek.
And Kooky, that track is called "Down Again"
Looking forward to seeing the Toronto crowd! It has been a while.
See you at the show.

That took long enough.

By the sounds of your response Lazlo, you are still out fo work. maybe you could be come a talentless muscian! Then you could really make the big bucks!!
You post in a way that makes slugs and other invertebrates look like Nobel Prize winners. You should offer your posting style to hospital operating theatres as a highly-effective alternative to unconsciousness-inducing medications.
If your brain matter was axle grease, there wouldn't be enough in your head to grease the dynamo on a lightening bug's ass. Why is it that the people with the smallest minds always have the biggest mouths? Have you ever noticed that whenever you sit behind a keyboard, some idiot starts typing? As Ellen Glasgow once remarked: "He knows so little and knows it so fluently."
Calling you dull is a gross underestimation of just how tedious you are. You have the personality of a damp sponge and the appeal of a moldy sweat sock. You are the kind of person who, when one first meets you, one doesn't like you. But when one gets to know you better, one hates you. Maybe you wouldn't come across as such a jellyfish-sucking mental midget if you weren't afflicted with mental retardation; if your weren't so fat that your cereal bowl has its own lifeguard, or if you didn't have a face that makes Medusa look like a supermodel. Who am I kidding? You would.
In closing, I suggest the next time that you feel an urge to embarrass yourself and bore others, that you summon all your might, and resist.
That's all I have to say right now.

I don't kn ow if we can pull it off the way the Meters do. I'll talk with the guys. A friend of my dad's recorded us playing at Abe's. He is putting it all together. I will check with him and get back to ya.
As far as NYE, I won't be able to attend. The guys are doing it without me. It sucks. I am going to be in Arizona with my wife and kid visiting her family. We do have some pretty stellar shows coming up in January though. Maybe we can get some Meter's together for then.
Adios.

I just got back from Chicago. We drove down there to see the Meters original line up at the house of blues. I have to say I think that show was definately in the top 5 all time shows I have been to. Not too many people know these guys. They are the funk. They are more funky than Parliament Funkadelic or Bootsy. Hell, they would even give James brown a run for his money. If anyone gets a chance to ever see these guys I highly recommend it.
Check them out at http://www.themetersonline.com/
You will not be dissapointed.
We also managed to see Duwayne Burnside from the North Mississippi Allstars playing at Buddy Guys Bar.
Gave me shivers.
Chicago is amazing for music. Check that city out if you ever get the chance.

As for you Lazlo, thanks for not showing up.
