]i don't have much money, and i really do not want to rough these last phish shows.....
so from great woods to coventry i will be selling art prints to make some extra cash.......
the artist is a very good friend of mine, and is also doing the trip with me.
Led Zeplin, Phish, Flecktones, Les Claypool, his own creations, and others will be made...
this is Led Zeplin
would you pay 5 american dollars for a nice high quality 11x17 print of that?
oh, and if you're not a member of image station

12/30/03 was voted best moe. show of the year on PT...
it was the best moe.show i have seen.... if you want to see rob shine get that show....he takes one of the coolest bass solo's during Brent Black. The song selection that night was great, and the whole show was filled with high energy playing.
The Vegas Run: 04/15/04, 04/16/04, 04/17/04
incredible run..... moe. would take the stage at about 1:30 am and finish playing at 5:30am ..... 04/17/04 set 2 opens with the greatest Rec Chem.... Al peaks for about 10 minutes straight at one point.

when i say security,
i mean crowd control....
for a band like moe. they don't have much sway over how the security handles the crowd.....its basically luck of the draw,
on NYE the two night run was plagued with horrible secuirty...people were getting kicked out all over the place for smoking joints, and its always annoying to have a security guard push his way through your space trying to sniff out pot smokers...
and i have never had any trouble with security at moe.down...
-
actually, id be MUCH more interested in seeing the duo w/ gordon AND JFJO than any other band, including moe...
i can hear where your comming from cuz it might be your taste or whatever,
but seeing moe. play moe.down is unreal imo....
its their own festival, and for a band moe.'s size they usually have to conform to the rules of venues (the security is usually always tight, and moe. is usually forced to stick to a cerfew)
at moe.down they are playing to their home crowd and they play as wildly and as freely as they want....its quite the sight
-
what you need to remember is that moe.down is the greatest place to see moe. take care of businessa nd that all other bands are just bonus....
greatest weekend by far.
-
i think the line up looks incredible!!
leo, gordon with the duo, blues traveler!!, bisco!!! , franti will be so much fun, two canadian side stage bands, al's band on the side stage, PGROOVE on the side stage, leftover samon is incredible......
this line up looks incredible, and there are so many special guest jam possibilities...... john popper and mike gordon are gonna tear it up with moe.

I have seen this incredible band about 3 times,
moe.down
summercamp late night
bonnaroo late night
and until bonnaroo late night, i didn't really think much of them. At bonnaroo, they totally blew me away. They are growing at an incredible rate right now, and if some one could get them to play a venue like the HorseShoe Tavern, it would be a real treat.
Think Robert Randolph playing the Horse shoe a few years ago....i will never be able to see him play a venue like that again...the same will happen to umphrey's.....so lets get them to play a nice smaller venue for us before they explode.

any show....

the prints are about 11 by 15 or so.....
we couldn't make them too big because it would be too hard to keep them safe while on the road....but they are a nice size and are really good quality
