  1. I have 2 talking drums which both have ripped skins and would require a lot of work to replace the skin & restring them. An african man at the big drum store on Queen ST Toronto told me years ago that it was cheaper to buy a new one than to pay someone to fix them.

Does your guy have access to these?

  2. I live in Waterloo & because of the 2 Universities the housing can be very expensive in the Waterloo area but there are cheap sublets in the summer when the students leave.

I believe Kitchener & Cambridge have cheaper housing but are a little slummier in some areas.

A lot of 2 bedroom apartments go for $800.00-$900.00 in Kitchener.....Schwa & Elemeno have been looking the last couple months so they may have a better idea.

It's a nice area as it doesn't have big city nonsense but still has all the shopping of a bigger city.

  3. while we're on the subject- I have some photographs published in the millenium edition, an edition i've never seen. if anyone's got an extra, or would be able to scan a few select pages......

    PM me, svp?!?!?!

    I'll take a look. I know I have a double-sized Year 2000 edition somewhere.

    What pictures did you take?

I got this from a newsgroup and it did include an info file that had most of what was needed. I was able to collect the rest. This is Roger Hodgson's last show with Supertramp, and there's been an audio version posted here (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42544&highlight=supertramp), but I know some folks will want the video version, so here it is. There's also been a cover posted (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29589&highlight=supertramp - thanks to Grapost), which I edited slightly for content and spelling, and included in the Extras folder. The quality is pretty decent, although there are two 'tape rolls'. They're brief and don't really detract from the show. Keep an eye out for the Topless Fräulein in the audience

  5. April Fools!

This was just a segway for me to do another contest. I have on DVD the last Supertramp show ever with Roger Hodgson from 1983. It is a professionally shot show and the hits keep coming.

The first person to PM me with their mailing address & a good reason why Supertramp kicks ass will get a copy.

  6. Following both bands’ summer tours, expect to see the two venerable Classic rockers team up in the fall. Both bands will alternate as the opener and then they will combine forces for a third act. Venues to be announced in the coming weeks but many Canadian dates will be included.

  7. You can play bass as phil' date=' guitar as jerry, drums as mickey/bill and sing like bobby. too fun.[/quote']

I heard that the initial version of the GD pack had you being able to sing like Phil, but people at "Rock Band" parties got tired of being told to fill out their organ donor cards.

    Awesome.

I'm waiting until July when it comes out on the Wii. With the motion sensing technology you actually have to kick and pose like Bobby when you sing.

  8. I recently downloaded a Janis Joplin video but all the tracks are in .mkw.

Has anyone used these types of files or have any recomendations for software? I would like to convert it to DVD if possible.
