Anyone know where you can listen to commentary of this game via the inter-web?
-
I was there and even on a cold, wet night everyone was in full voice. Definitely come out to a game if you get the chance, you'll be hooked...

It was a decent fight. Mayweather is a boring counter-punch boxer who doesn't like to exchange blows toe-to-toe, plus he has near flawless defense. Mayweather landed the cleaner punches and neither fighter got hurt or tired for that matter. The decision was correct. I gotta hand it to Oscar. He took it to Floyd, but he never really landed a clean combo.
My feelings exactly, went to the Harbour Sports Grille in TO and ran into Sam Mitchell watchin the fight. he was one of the only guys in the place cheering for Mayweather. He musta been trying to drink away his sorrows from the night before...
(as an a side, he is one BIG dude)

The atmosphere was electric, heard comments from players on both teams saying it had a European feel with the noise and chanting...hell when KC scored the guy ran over to the TFC supporters section celebrating and promptly had beer thorwn at him (they didn't show that on TV) it's gonna be a fun summer that's for sure (you should hear the place rumble when everyone starts stomping their feet in the supporters section - south end, and the upper West side, the floor is metal and sounds like thunder!!)
-
Got my season tix (3 Rows up fron the corner flag (SW corner) they have a warm-up event there tonight for season tix holders get watch the TFC play KC on the big screen and get sample the food and beers...

They should have Stu Dog in nets instead of Sutton!!
If you are scared Doggy I'll get them to sign me as a central defender to protect your ass!!!

Frost also tried to open a bar/nightclub in Kingston about a year back...once the locals found out he was involved (and he was involved, he was seen on numerous ocassions in the place) the public reaction basically ran himm and the bar out of town...

I hope so they lookedd piss poor on Sat v Pompey, but then again Kieran feckin Richardson got the start (and gave away the ball that led to Portsmouth's 1st goal)
it's setting up to be a unique finish between Chelski and Manu to the season...from Football365
"But there is the possibility of a unique series of matches between 9 May and 23 May: one at Stamford Bridge that could settle the Premiership; one at Wembley to settle the world's oldest cup competition; and one in Athens for the right to sit at the pinnacle of the European (and arguably world) game."
I'll be the 1st to admit though there is still a lot of work to be done to get to that point...

I will say that Roma's "D" licked donkey balls...

Billy Bragg - The Internationale

That was probably the best CL performance I've ever seen, loved that it came from the mighty Mancs!

I have lived in the same area for about 5 years and i love it, kinda Little Portugal area, Dupont and Christie (about a block west of Bathurst and The Annex, one block north of Bloor) Can get anywhere in the city in about half an hour, relatively cheap. Nice quiet neighbourhood streets.

BTW Chameleon you would have loved to have been at the game Wed. Purolator had a charity thing goin on and you could get your pic with JYD!!! They showed him courtside in the 4th quarter and the place went crazy!!!
-
My point exactly, they should be able to rebound, the other part of it though is that no one seems to know who is going to shoot when so nobody is ready to rebound when the inevitable misses occur...
-
I care, good article, good ole Kingston boy!!!
-
Bullshi*t story, i was at the game last night and the Raptors were lucky to win, but that had nothing to do with Sam Mitchell. They couldn't rebound to save their lives (besides Bosh) and they always seem to be looking for the extra pass and seem afraid to take the open shot. That to me has nothing to do with the coach and everything to do with the players. You can see in Sam Mitchell the passion he has for the game when he's running up and down the sidelines yelling and constantly talking to the players, you can tell he wishes he was still out there. Why that passion doesn't translate to the players banging the boards and taking their shots, I confess, I do not know.
people are quick to forget that this is essentially a completely different team from last year, playing a completely different style of ball, it's gonna take time.

Personally I liked Bengie, not the fastest wheels on the field but hit was a hitting machine coming down the stretch. Niether him nor Zahn have good arms behind the plate though...
