  1. I was lucky enough to score tickets for me and my wife to this show. 7th row on the floor. For a 66 year old man his voice is gold. Amazing show. Old songs and new. I recorded the show on my phone. Quality isn't the greatest but it's something. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1q4s8kcf8tqu6f7/AAAWy04lz0ApwAOujGJZLM_Za?dl=0

i will up set 2 and encore later. Drop box will only let me upload so much. Enjoy if you can handle the hooting and hollering.

  2. once we were handed the phishbill there was still a buzz of confusion. Many people saying this is a Hoax they are going to start with this and wip into something else. Once the house got moved to an empty stage we all knew they were actually doing the album but know one knew how they were going to execute it. It was a great element of suprise and when they executed it so well there was just a joy philled in the room, every one was so excited to be there and experiencing that moment. It was great to be there. And MGM as a venue rocks large!!! Yes sir no glass but bring in your beer to the show.. no problem!! heaven!!

  3. yes very tough. i was clicking for 15 minutes then finnally. we are 7th row dead centre. not cheap but it's nyree's bd present and she absolutley loves cat stevens. So i took the hit on my cc. Will be worth every penny. luckly porter had an amazing sale so we can fly in to the island and fly out the next morning for next to nothing. can't wait!!!

  4. It's a paperless ticket. They will swipe my cc for entrance. Ny State has a law it has to be a paper ticket and tickets were already on sale through ticket brokers and the tickets had not even been on sale yet. So he canceled. Good to go for Toronto. Tickets are not transferable. Only the name of the person who bought the tickets with their credit card will be aloud admittance.

  5. who's in. We are doing. New deal bb, phish halloween, moe. bb after party, phish night two, moe. after party, greesky bluegrass matinee bb and phish night three. Will be trying to pace myself to get it all in. Staying at mgm as well. Hope to score large on Saturday for Halloween show!!

  8. boom' date=' I would like to add to this thread but I am far too young to be dealing with 8 tracks. I will let you old farts relive the glory days of 8 track. My parents had a huge collection of Glen Campbell 8 tracks I do remember that much. :)[/quote']

My niece was born in the nineties too.

I was actually born in 78 but still before my time. love the action these threads. This board has been lacking this for too long. I will take a splash of scotch to that!!

  10. actually you will see me at many stores. I am a casual part time employee so when I am not working my store other stores call me. I have worked all over the city. from rideau in king edward to orleans to bank and mclaren etc.

  11. Talk of packaging and autographs and how-much-you-paid without sharing photos of said record with the shots of scotch is about as lame as my asking for luck vibes on ebay auction bidding (thanks again everybody' date=' I hope you can accept my apologies for being a douchebag on those).

Remember, Make it visual, hipsters - or else, why does it even matter?[/quote']

lol, well a lot of people know me on this thread and I know I have this stuff. You too thread bashers i have never met, maybe scwha once at a nero party. I have extra's why not share the wealth. My collection is quite large. I am an vinyl addict to the fourth degree. As far as glass a scotch I drink scotch a lot. Since being employed at the lcbo for the past two years my palate for good booze has developed. I have a few nice bottles at home I take a splash of when i listen to records. Good enough explanation for ya brah's lol douch. now back to record talk.

    Which LCBO you working at?

Westboro, near the superstore on Richmond. It's my part time job at night after my regular job. Still managing the Hertz in the Byward market. I do 10-20 hours a week at the lcbo avg. Some weeks not so much but with summer coming I will be there much more.

  12. I am more interested in finding new music I really enjoy, the medium is irrelevant to me, I don't suspect this thread will be a source for me, though I am always interested in what some of you are listening to, we have similar tastes.

agreed, I do listen to vinyl but i listen to music all day and night. i have 3 hard drives full, i have flash drives in my car and a subscription to xm radio. I even sometimes listen to the radio. I am always in search for new grooves. But when I am home and need to relax and listen to some really nice grooves vinyl is the way I go!!. I think now it's more of an obsession obviously I can't listen to all but i try, I am not a collector that just sits on them I actually make an effort to listen to them. But to keep my collection going further I do sell some stuff otherwise i could never afford to keep buying more records.
