bouche and I had cornish game hen with a raspberry/peach chutney, mashed potatoes and a turnip/carrot side. With pumpkin pie. mmmmm.

I missed stuffing and gravy though.

I was cleaning out our gardens for the fall and had a bunch of mint to preserve. So I made about 8 little jars of mint jelly and with the rest, I'm going to put it in a jar with rum for mohitos. I'm also going to dry some for tea.

Do any of you have other favorite methods for preserving herbs?

Sounds terrific. I discovered watermelon, basil and goat cheese salad this summer. Just that, some Olive oil and seasoning and you're good to go.

We use Dr. Duong. He's fantastic and doesn't hesitate to perscribe stuff and send us for more tests. Usually we can get a same or next day appointment as well.

Great suggestions. I looked at the Haunted Walk and Honest Lawyer. I think Honest Lawyer is a good bet. It serves booze and has an open mic night tomorrow.

We're having a retreat with about 20 people in it tomorow and at the last minute I've been asked to find a place for us to have some fun after dinner.
