  3. :) good one. niffer and go for walks around town and end up with hands and pockets full of litter (mostly freekin' water bottles!!) but it's a nice feeling being part of the solution. hmmm...maybe i oughta start carrying a bag...
  4. wear sunscreen if you're oot and aboot these days.. the sun is as high in the sky as mid august... don't want to start off the nice weather with a sunburn

good point. i;m waiiting for the cbc to start with the uv intensity warnings during the weather forecast...although it sure beats wind chill warnings :P

  5. hey myrna' date=' it's probably " diatomaceous earth. " it's a fine powder that dries the little buggers out. works on all kinds of bugs.

Tricky stuff to find. Shops in Chinatowns seem to have it often enough, though. Look for the little matchbox-size box with a picture of a cockroach on it.

    i think that you're thinking of magic_chalk.JPG

  6. I'd love an invite but I still can't figure out how to get a decent ratio on there. nothing I download gets uploaded.

you've gotta seed a couple of your own things, or jump on a really busy torrent that you may not necessarily want.

pm me if you want one.

  7. are you asking about the locked.gif on the last topic having to do with this?

    fwiw,

Level 1: Tinted Glass (Placing users behind the tinted glass will prevent them from inviting you into a private topic.)

Level 2: Wood Crate (Placing users in a wood crate has the same affect as tinted glass plus they will not be able to view your profile.)

Level 3: Lead Box (Placing highly toxic users in this has the same affects as wood crate plus the user's topics and posts will be hidden from your view. Their names will not be displayed in the online information either.)

Also note, you may wish to set yourself invisible from online displays so that users that you are ignoring can't see that your online.
