No links to anything specific. We ended up renting the main floor of a decent semi mid town. Split with friends much cheaper than a hotel. Used a site called AIRBNB. Also checked out VRBO but AIRBNB seemed to have more options in Chicago. I'd think that both hotels and rentals might open up as those without tickets bail on the trip. Good luck with your search! ( somehow I think mine will be more difficult .

We're going! Booked a place and the train the day it was announced. Just struck out on mail order and ticketbastard. Disappointed for sure but always wanted to see Chicago anyway. No doubt we will spend some time down at the show looking for what would be a real miracle ticket but there should be no shortage of fun and interesting things to check out.

Frustrating not to know where but Awesome you are in the show! I may have to content myself with "in the city". Still hoping though. If anyone is looking for a cheap way to Chicago. 60.00 return on amtrack from port huron just across from Sarnia.

Yup what everyone else said. 20 years and 100's of shows later the great music and people the fatties brought together have shaped my life in too many ways to mention. Thanks Boys.

Anyone have hotel recommendations for Rochester Hills or Canadaigua?

Finger Lakes Inn in Canadaigua is 5 minute walk to the show........lots of fun!

Hey Sarah, super excited to get up there. I'm trying to convince my travelling partner to get on the road early so we can catch your new outfit. (For anyone who doesn't know Sarah has a beautiful voice)

Don't think I've seen Days in 15 years. I used to see them religiously in the early 90's. They were(and hopefully still are) friggin fantastic. Seeing the two bands together again will be a real treat/ I can only remember a couple of pairings at the Volcano and my very first Fat cat show, Halloweeen 92 opening for Days at the Serbian club in K-W. Time flies. Enjoy everyone

Also, I'll second the hope that there is a little wiggle room with the set times...... having the fatties end at 11:00 seems a bit on the early side. It would be nice if there was some energy in the room for their set Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if this has changed since the last time the Fatties played there in about 1994 , but watching the locals is worth the price of admission all by itself.

I know last year we got our tickets at the gates. The year before I think I purchased mine fairly late in the game as well...

I'm a little torn between heading back there again this year, or Rothbury instead...or perhaps sticking around for a cool development that appears to be on the rise in this neck of the woods as well...

Todd gets his week off with the boys every year for a fishing trip, and I'm thinking of taking advantage of this july weekend for me to have some fun in the sun without any parental responsibilities...I feel like i'm due for some serious party catch-up time.

Slightly off topic, but is the ACC connected to Union Station? And if so does Union Station have lockers to rent?

I'm looking for a place to ditch my winter coat as standing for several hours with no place to put your coat is a annoying.

Help!

I'm trying to order the presale and it won't let me get past the shipping/billing page. I check off that my shipping address is the same as my billing address but it still wants me to put in my shipping address. That would be fine except the only country you can select to ship to is the U.S. Anyone got any ideas on how to get around this??
