I don't actually hate toronto, had many great times there, but it is awful easy to poke fun at... though anyone saying Toronto beats Vancouver for quality of living obviously thinks there's more calories in water than milk
the lady I previously mentioned could make my run-on sentance there look like an abbreviated haiku... my time working with her made me REALLY get a kick out of the movie "Office Space"

thanks for the heads up zero... was thinking about checkin it out but your enthusiasm sealed the deal for me... heavy flowing jazz with tastefully subtle brazilian percussive inflections sprinkled throughout... fantastic

the night of sept 11, 2001 I went out adn sat by myself on a patio (hardly anyone else was out, was the only person at the bar)... you don't realize how different not seeing or hearing a single plane fly over is until you experience it
last night on CBC they showed a powerful documentary called "Why We Fight"... a particularly devastating point was when they were speaking with the father of a man killed in the world trade center attacks who had proudly written his son's name on the first bomb fired on Baghdad Iraq... he said that when he later heard George Bush publicly announce that his administration had never said that they had found any evidence of Iraq having any direct involvement whatsoever in the 9/11 attacks he was unbelievably crushed and humiliated... he kept saying "What did he just say?" What did he just say?" over and over and couldn't stop crying... once he regained himself he asked that if you can't trust your president, who can you trust? having been manipulated to use his son's memory to start a war that had nothing to do with his son's death tormented him beyond words... fuck you Bush

the lady I worked under briefly, who was the unquestionable leader of the mail room at stock brockerage Merill Lynch, (on Bay Street downtown Toronto) who had proudly enthused to me that she had worked through each and every holiday the company offered her in her 26 years there and had never missed a day otherwise, confided to me one day when I came in complaining of a sore throat from breathing the propane fumes coughed out by an ocean of downtown taxis all day that "At least its not as polluted as Hamilton."
I smiled, looked her straight in the eye, and said "Thats right!"
to this day, I joyously have never seen her even once in Hamilton

er, um... actually you should watch yourself with the Codeine/Whiskey mix... 4 Tylenol 3's and a six pack put a guy I knew in Sault Ste Marie into a coma... was a pretty big guy too
recommend you maybe switch it over to something opiate-ish or even aspirin-ish if you're gonna be doing any serious drinkin
believe that its healing quickly and maybe with luck it will...
and you got lots of fingers anyways
(((({{{happy healing finger}}})))

don't forget its still your birthday until you pass out (hey... not unforseeable to push it straight through to the other side of Come Together!)
have yourself a good one
-
yeah!
keep seeing it on the news with announcers saying the Pentagon released the footage which disproves all the missile conspiracies etc
regardless of conspiracies, what plane?
building go boom is all I see
if I was still concerned about what hit the pentagon I would probably say that Disney could've put a little more effort into that clip, considering the amount of time they've had to work on it... to be honest I think at this point, people feel more caught off guard if they realize the White House actually is telling the truth about something

I used Guelph's forecast off the Weather Network (figured they're an hour and a bit apart, more or less same dif) (wierd, did a search for Durham and it acted like I was speaking chinese)
well, if its rainin Saturday and we need some sunshine we know where it'll be!
(less chance of rain Fri on the actual Durham one!)
-
hope you have a great one!

Friday is supposed to be 17 Celsius with a 60% chance of showers... not bad, and the rest of the weather looks perfect for a May 24 weekend to me... light showers forcast for Monday (chase out the stragglers, like myself)
