Happy 40th!

What time did you find that at? Just wondering...really.

Take it from me' date=' every three years I switch towns and beer.[/quote']
Do you allow backtracking? If you don't, and if you live long enough, you'll face running out of towns and/or brands of beer.
Aloha,
Brad
There's plenty of towns and I've only floated around the province of Ontario. As for back tracking I would allow myself to re-visit every one except for the dirty city of Windsor. I must go have a shower now. Windsor flashbacks make me feel grimey and I didn't even try any lsd while I was there.

See what smoking can do to you?
Without the use of his nose it's not the cigarettes you should worry about
New Rider, quit drinkin the Blue Ribbon in copious amounts and you wouldn't fall so frequently. Take it from me, every three years I switch towns and beer.

Interested and thinking about going on April 4th.
What are they like?
I've seen them a handful of times and always left wanting more.

Return To Forever: Where Have I Known You Before
(1974 Polydor -- Corea, Clarke, Di Meola, White)
1. Vulcan Worlds
2. Where Have I Loved You Before?
3. The Shadow of Lo
4. Where Have I Danced With You Before?
5. Beyond the Seventh Galaxy
6. Earth Juice
7. Where Have I Known You Before?
8. Song to the Pharoah Kings
Album Notes (CDUniverse.com) -- This classic, cookin' fusion record from the heyday of the genre still sounds exciting today. Keyboardist Chick Corea leads his band on an intergalactic cruise into the void where rock and jazz meet in an explosive big bang. Playing with sci-fi imagery, Corea, bassist Stanley Clarke, drummer Lenny White, and guitarist Al DiMeola know how to trip the light fantastic.
White's searching "The Shadow of Lo" lets DiMeola riff with velvety guitars around Corea's sunny keys. On the closing space/jazz tug of war "Song to the Pharaoh Kings," Corea's synths pop like subatomic nuclei, while White lays down a frenzied star storm of clashing cymbals and ringing snares, and DiMeola and Clarke's strings wrap themselves around each other with impressive skill.

Back in the day, 1 of my 2 Gretz rookies made a great motor sound when closepinned to the back tire of my Huffy. The front tire was devoted to my only Grant Fuhr rookie. The sound replication was short lived with the cards and for some reason I always picked the best of my O-Pee-Chee collection.
My bike was still one of the cooler ones on the street. By todays standards it would likely be the most valuable at any given time. Steve Yzerman, Dennis Potvin, Mike Bossy, Rick Vaive, Wendel Clark, Chris Chelios, and many other marquee players had their collector cards run through those steel spokes if only I would have known about Jo Jo and her psychic alliance back in the 80's I could be a wealthy man right now.

My condolences Greg. It's a tough thing to do, even though it is sometimes necessary. All the best to you Hud, and Greg.

Happy St. Paddys day to you M. Have a great time.
According to The Vatican it was yesterday. They moved it.
-
Thanx bro. I've got 8 mins till the bus comes to grab me. Have a good night all. I know I will.
Highlander it is!
-
Guess not. Is there anywhere nearby where a guy can get a pint of Guinness before embarking on Mavericks where I will be stuck drinking 50 all night long?
Tonight could turn into a G&T night. Uh Oh.
-
BTW...I did, however VERY briefly, think about fastening a piece of plywood to the front of the car.
If it ever comes to that I would recommend a 3/4" but it'll likely be done for in a matter of seconds. A more logical though would have been strapping a wheel barrow on there.

Legion Of Green Men - Floating In Shallow Water
-
Up for a pre-show drink Brad?
-
I'm grabbing the bus from here in Kanata and according to octranspos' travel plan I will arrive at approxiamately 8:57pm if I walk the pace in which normal transit riders do.
However, I am thinking I should wait it out and maybe stop and grab a beer somewhere else before I get to Mavericks.

Just remembered this thread from a while back and decided to throw in my two cents.

Any idea what time they go on?

Are these crows going to attend Wassabi tonight? Doesn't seem like anyone else is.

First time I've come across this thread.
Currently I am sipping on one of my favorite domestic micro brews.
Camerons Auburn Ale
The are a brewery in Oakville, Ontario. I literally stumbled across it at a beer store a few years ago. Liked the packaging, comes in a 9 pack, but most of all I loved their slogan.
"Brewed by a connoisseur, not an accountant."
They also have a great lager and one other, might be a cream ale. Anyways, if you haven't tried it then go out and get yourself self some. Excellent beer. Especially, if you are a fan of Upper Canada Brewery quite similar but I enjoy Camerons more. My opinion anyways.
Happy Birthday M
