  1. this is a bit off topic but, since you were talking about hosting pics on other sites; i thought i'd ask.

i've been having trouble making my avatar work (as you can see to the left). could anyone explain how to make this work? i'm not the most tech savvy person and would appreciate any help.

You and I should get ourselves a subforum Killa. Or Bouche should draft us up some coles notes on jambands.ca for dummies. I've been having this issue for a while now. I just gave up trying to figure it out. Really, I came to terms that I'm not computer savvy and am not likely to reach 'Legend' status or to become a 'World Idol'

  2. It's looking as though we found ourselves a nice 2bdrm townhouse in Kanata not too far from where Michelle landed a job. Although it's not right in the city it seems like a great neighbourhood and the place is everything we were looking for with a few bonuses. Anyone for tennis?

Just waiting on on Monday for all the paper approval and it's a go. The tentative moving day is Wednesday the 23rd. Thanx again to everyone.

  3. My favourite game and best money maker that i've found are the tooney tosses at bottles of liquor

The last stag and doe I was at this game was by far the biggest $$$$ maker. At the beginning of the game when very few people were paying attention, including myself, the brides brother tossed a toonie a got it within an inch of the 400z bottle of Crown. Nobody could see it and the toonie toss went on for another 20mins or so with everyone oblivious to the fact that there was little chance they could get any closer. The happy couple probably netted about $1000 off this game. A Grand in 30 minutes sounds pretty good to me.

  4. Thanks to everyone for helping out it's very appreciated and will not go unnoticed!

My girlfriend is on her way back from Ottawa in the morning with a new job that she scored this morning and a great line on an 2bdrm townhome in the west end.

It would be a little premature to announce a housewarming party as of yet. Nor, am I quite sure I would enjoy seeing her pegged out on an exorbiant amount of valium whilst listening to a song that is asking her to 'Step Into The Freezer'

Well... not her first week in Ottawa anyways. ;)

When the housewarming does occur feel free to bring your dog Booche. But as soon as the little pink thing starts to show on Sully you have to seperate them.

    Thanx Again Everyone!

    Brian

  5. ??? NR

Sandy Hill is near the university so buses are plentiful and frequent

I meant for having to move to Ottawa in general. I'm just teasing though. I haven't been there in a LONG time.

I would prefer ample notice before you come visit my friend. Need to make sure the gf is dosed up on some sort of tranquilizers if you and I are to get together. *winks*

  6. Hello all,

My girlfriend and I are in the process of making a move to the fine city of Ottawa, Ontario.

Currently she is in the city for job interviews and browsing for apartments/houses for rent.

Anyways, the reason for this post is that I'm aware that many of you fine folks live within the city of Ottawa or the general vacinity. I would like to ask if any of you may have any advice or leads on apartments or houses in the east end or central Ottawa? Ideally, we would be looking for a 1 year lease on a 2-3bdrm apt/house with the price range being from $1000-$1200 per month. Inclusive would be best but likely more difficult to aquire. We do have a dog so pets being allowed would be a must. He's a gentle mid size mix breed with a penchant for pillows when nobody is around. We would be looking for fairly immediate occupancy and it looks as though we will be heading down this coming Sunday and staying in a motel for a week. See you all at Nero!

Any advice would not go unnoticed and would be very appreciated.

    Thanx in Advance,

    Brian
