  2. Baj and I just got one for Christmas, and we LOVE it!

The Grateful Dead channel has yet to piss me off, but I have noticed an overflow of Bobby songs.. We have heard some wicked JGB and Legion of Mary, but that's probably because we had it on the GD Channel almost constantly on our 20+ hour drive back from Kentucky..

Jam On hasn't really excited me, there's way too much Dave Matthews Band for my liking.. But every once in a while I'll hear something great..

I love Buzzsaw and ClassicVinyl.. They play lots of the Who for me!

Of course, the Bluegrass station is AWESOME!! They have 2 Newgrass nights and play stuff like Yonder! (Tuesday and Saturday nights) I also love the program put on by Del McCoury, he plays lots of Bill Monroe and other Kentucky good ole boys!!

    Yay for Sirius!

  3. 321: Songs with months of the year in the title, in calendar order

Special rules : 1) You can pick any month that hasn't already been used, so long as you put it in the right spot. In other words, the next pick doesn't have to be February, but if the next pick is June, it has to be put in at spot #6

    2) If the title has a word that is the same as a month but isn't being used as a month in the title's context (eg. May, March, etc.), it is allowable

  6. The river rolls and the river winds

And it seems to do something for my peace of mind

Though I didn't know it, I came here looking to find

A place to forget about my troubles for awhile

I saw a mother with her little baby when I was walking here

There's something 'bout a little baby that makes me laugh

They don't seem to have a care

And I wonder if I'm ever gonna feel that way again

Until then, I'll find some time to spend down by the river

I spend a lot of time looking forward

Looking back and looking down at my feet upon the ground

I fell backwards and when I opened my eyes

I found myself staring straight up in the sky

And it seemed like there was something there to learn

When I realized I had nowhere else to be

And the only sound that mattered was the wind that blowed so gentle through the trees

Such a harmony down by the river

Well I heard music, it was soft and clear

And I sang out for the first time, I didn't care who would hear

Because I found my answers in the wind and waves

And the magic in the little things that happen every day

And I played that tune on my old mandolin

And I didn't hurt at all for company

Because the river likes to sing along and knows the words to every song I play

Such a lovely day down by the river

    Such a lovely day...
