Markov is a guy we've come to expect perfection from, and he hasn't been, but has been very solid back there overall... Horrible clearing of our end has to stop, how many times has a weak clearence in our end turned into a goal against lately... 1 second left in the period!! I think the goaltending problem alone would be too much to accomplish this needed 2nd half record... but I definately wanna see them try (finishing in 9th to 11th that is ) Gerber's bags are pretty much packed... looking to be Calgary for the destination... blockbuster trade for a 3rd to 4th rounder... Don't know why Calgary wouldn't have just snagged him off re-entry waivers for 1/2 price...

My hatred of Leaf fans/organization has almost disappeared. The fury has been directed to Ottawa:) I agree 100% badams, and I think the reason for the redirection of the dislike is / was: The leafs fans now know that they are not supposed to be contending for the cup, so the smacktalk from them has dissapeared, and realize the rebuilding phase will take time...if they could ever sneak into the playoffs, they would be ecstatic... Before, notsomuch... Some Sens fans (note: not all) are just bitter, and as they should be; they are supposed to be a team built to produce for right now, not even coming close to accomplishing that, and now must throw stones at others who make their team look even worse by actually playing quite well, even without all the big name/contract players... No Habs fan is hanging their heads after last night, and they shouldn't...a very small bump within a marathon season...

I call BS on all of this crap! I think you can safely say, that no one had a goddam clue what Mats will do, we've seen 6-7 deadlines come and go now, and 95% of NHL teams named as possible suitors. He won't sign before Christmas, and it won't be the Rangers... they have no cap, so the pending trades will come out first, or waivers (they'll probably trade for late round picks though rather than waiver option). He will go to the Canucks, in late January, and do very little, and basically go against evrything he said he wouldn't do... join a team for a playoff run, just go after $, and join a non-contender Stanley cup team (which the Canucks are not for sure)... fuck_u Mats, you're dead to me... well, unless he signs with the Habs, than we'll talk
