There are a small number of artists out there who want to keep their ticket prices low. I wish I could see Further at bluesfest this year but I will be out of town. I did see Hank III earlier this month for 25 dollars per ticket it was the most fun i've had at a concert in a long time and the cheapest too (besides the number of beers i ended up consuming) tshirts were only 25 bucks too. I saw Clapton and Beck earlier this year at 200/ticket.. I'm going to see petty and will most likely pay 200 a ticket.. I have tickets for the wall tour at 225/ticket. Personally I don't really care about the prices but i certainly wouldn't complain if they were cheaper. if demand for the tickets goes down, so will prices but with these tours selling out so fast I don't see them going anywhere but up.

ha, its not so bad. took a while to get used to coming from a town of 2600..(dresden). When I do buy a place I hope to get something outside of the city though.

could of fooled me. i'm spending more on concerts than ever. ticket prices just seem to continue to climb. on average its like 100/per ticket then you buy a shirt thats another 40 and a few beers at 7-10 per beer you're spending 200 per person on average. then you have the crazy expensive shows like roger waters or eric clapton.

Yeah, its really too bad. My parents still live there so I make it back a few times a year. There is some beautiful lakefront in the area. Sometimes I think I shold of stayed there. Buying a home in ottawa is like 300k plus

I grew up in the chatham-kent area. I think its pretty funny that they are going to be the boardwalk as the entire area is falling apart due to the auto industry taking a dive and factories moving to mexico/china.

Yeah, it seems a number of people were caught off guard by it selling out. I'm glad I got a ticket early. Were you the guy with the 'need hank iii tickets' on the back of the pizza box? I got a few videos with my crappy camcorder but the sound quality lacks..

Were you able to tape the show? It would be cool to have a copy of it, or at least the setlist. Great show!
