The ACC was definitely shaking last night. Crowd was great, and I truly could not believe that the Raps won that game when all was said and done.
Probably the first legitimate sell out of the season since opening night, too. Actually, just checked the box score to see they had over 20,000 there last night, which means plenty of standing-room only tickets were also sold.

Spoiler Alert - surprise guests and musical performance information
Tom Hanks, Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell, Neil Young doing "Long May You Run" and an epic "Freebird" All-Star jam with tons of peeps including Ben Harper on slide.
about tonight's show, courtesy of a dude on PT that works on the show.

He certainly hasn't been the clutch 4th quarter guy that can create his own shots.

If a sport has a clock- then the clock only runs during play of every sport Bash.
I meant out of the broadcast how much is actual action. And of course you could run this stat on most "action" movies and get interesting numbers too.
Wrong. In the article, they defined "action" as the the time between the snap of the football, and the whistle at the end of the "play". In hockey, the parallel would be the time between the puck being dropped to start a play, and the whistle for the next stoppage.
Like I said, for hockey, that would be very close to 60 minutes (give or take for OT and shootouts).
And in basketball, there are times where the clock is NOT running, but there is active play.
-
Well, in hockey the clock only runs during play, so I would say 60 minutes of action sums that up.
In basketball, there is action while the clock is stopped (free throws, buzzer beaters, ball passed inbounds but not touched yet...), so I would guess the 48 minutes of clock time probably equates to a tad more than 60 minutes of action.
Now, baseball would be really interesting.

Keep in mind that 3DTV is on the way, and you will need to have a "3D compatible" TV to take advantage.

Nothing to sneeze at. This is just the fifth time in their 15 seasons that they can claim that.
Yesterday's game was a lot of fun.
-
For the record, I took Raptors moneyline (small), and game total over 210.5 (large).
I will look stupid or smart.
-
Okay,
Anyone watching this Raps Knicks game tonight?
-
Absolutely NOT pro shot, but still nice.

Conan actually hasn't said he's leaving. He has forced NBC to make a decision, and good on him.
I mean, doesn't Leno have any pride? I mean, will he really slide back into that 11:35 Tonight Show chair after all of this, like nothing happened? Seems absurd. He needs to just go away.

Before this week, this thread had about 15 posts since the start of the season. Why on earth would I come HERE to discuss hoops?
-
I find it interesting that Basher stopped talking smack regaring the Raptors the second he stopped going to games for free. Has there ever been a bigger fair-weather fan?
What the fuck are you talking about?

can this please turn into a '30 ROCK RULES' thread?
You're the third heat!

Tony Markellis has had his bass on a stand for as long as I can remember. He sits the whole show too. Not for looping purposes, for gravity purposes.
-
It is also quite long for a kid to sit through.

From trey.com:
Trey hits the road in February for a month-long tour with Classic TAB, featuring the same lineup from last fall, with the addition of horns back into the mix. Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute) and Jen Hartswick (trumpet and vocals) once again join Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards). New to the group is Natalie Cressman on trombone and vocals.

I'm sure your right.
With all the TicketMaster and Live Nation dates popping up, we will likely see an official announcement in the next 24-48 hours.
-
Afraid. Maybe.
Unable to cross due to criminal record. Definitely.
Plenty of performers/athletes with criminal records cross the border for work.
-
A Toronto date would be awesome' date=' but I think Trey is afraid of this city.[/quote']
Do tell....
There are people in this city that have ensured Trey had everything he needed wanted in past visits. I'm quite certain he is not interested in that kind of hospitality anymore.
-
Schwa, I absolutely did, and in the third row no less.
God that was awful. We also walked out of Langerado early when Trey was sucking horribly.
Classic TAB would be great, but I'm not sure I will be doing any sort of traveling to check them out. A Toronto date would be awesome, but I think Trey is afraid of this city.

No formal announcement, so it seems like the public is still in the dark on the band mates. I enjoyed the 2002 line-up (Tony Markellis, Russ Lawton, Jen Hartswick, Russell Reminton, Dave Grippo, Ray Paczkowski, Andy Moroz, Cyro Baptista and Peter Apfelbaum).
Really did NOT enjoy the 70 Volt Parade.
-
That's awful news. Condolences to you and your family.

Just listened to the Run/Boogie On Like an Antelope, loved it. I think the GBOTT was a tad overfluffed.
Now checking out the Jibboo>Wilson>Jibboo from the night before.
