Churchills/Jericho Jones - Churchills 1968-1969/Jericho Jones 1970-1971. Dble CD, £16.00 (Hed Arzi - BAN-15591)

One of the top 10 psych albums of all time (fact). Only released in Israel in 1969, this is an incredible psych fest with superb tripped out songs in English, amazing multi-layered, phased freaked out acid guitar solos, weird effects and exotic arabian instruments. Genuine Middle Eastern psych. The band only made one album, but what an album and not only that this version has 6 bonus tracks! They then evolved into Jericho who feature on disc 2 of this magnificent set when their music showed a greater maturity in both songwriting and playing, featuring some excellent heavy bluesy/acid music. Contains 7 bonus tracks. Beautiful slipcase artwork and extensive booklet showing 7" sleeves and press shot.
